Opinion.- Mobile has won. And not just recently. Back in 2020, some were still trying to make desktop landing pages and Full HD creatives - but in 2025, that’s just laughable. Mobile traffic has become so dominant that buyers care more about how a button looks on an iPhone 13 mini than on a 27-inch monitor.
Share of mobile traffic (2020-2025)
In short: it’s massive. So massive you don’t even need to Google the numbers - just open any tracker and look at the sources. Everyone’s on mobile. It’s just convenient: you’re lying down, scrolling through Facebook - boom, a nice little banner promising a win. One click, and you’re in the casino. That’s it.
Who’s still on desktop? Office workers and gamers. But gamblers? They’ve got a smartphone in one hand and a deposit in the other.
Where mobile isn’t just a trend - it’s the only channel
There’s a simple rule: the poorer the geo, the more mobile the traffic. In places like Somalia or Uzbekistan, people might not even have a PC - or stable internet. But they do have a smartphone and Telegram. That’s all the analytics you need.
While someone in the UK can sip lavender lattes while pondering their bet, someone from a Tier-3 geo is clicking whatever loads first. The only thing that matters is speed and an instant bonus.
Creatives and landings - mobile-first only
Still making 1920×1080 banners? Stop. That format belongs in an archive. Everything today is built for vertical: 1080×1920, or at most - a square. Landing pages? Ultra-minimal, fast-loading, with a single CTA. Anything else kills conversion.
The whole idea: fast, simple, and swipe-friendly.
User retention via in-app
Push is everything. 24 hours passed and the user didn’t come back? Remind them. “You still have a bonus!”, “Special offer today!” - any excuse will do. Just don’t spam.
Also, in-app dynamic offers work great: stuff like “one more spin and save your mom.” These are the new retention scripts.
Who wins with mobile
Pretty much everyone. But especially PWA and in-app offers - they feel native. Facebook and Google Discovery are also excellent sources for hot mobile traffic.
Half of our users don’t even realise they’ve entered a casino - they think it’s just another mini-game in the app. ( lol)
Mobile landings and creatives
Minimal text, maximal action. One screen = one action. Image, bonus, button. No scrolling, no forms, no “click here to read the terms.”
Creatives should be in the style of Reels and Shorts: fast, flashy, and tap-worthy.
CPA or RevShare?
CPA is great if you want fast payback on traffic. But if you’re playing long-term and the user brings money beyond day one - then go with RevShare.
Just make sure you know how to calculate LTV and track where the user came from. That’s extra important in mobile, where behaviour is different: less time, more emotion, lower loyalty.
AR/VR - will it work?
AR and VR are exciting. The idea of a VR casino where you “sit at the table” sounds cool. But honestly, it’s too early. Devices are expensive, user adoption is low, and it’s not mainstream yet.
Still, the potential is real - especially if combined with bonuses, live dealers, and slick graphics.
AR is closer: you can already test augmented reality experiences - like a banner showing up in the real world via the camera. Futuristic? Yes. But the trend is already knocking.
