Bally's Corporation
Bally's Corporation is a casino and entertainment operator headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, built out of the former Twin River Worldwide Holdings. The New York hedge fund Standard General, whose principal Soo Kim chairs the board, took the company private in a buyout at 18.25 dollars a share valuing it at around 4.6 billion dollars, completing in February 2025 alongside a combination with Queen Casino and Entertainment. It bought the British online operator Gamesys for 2.7 billion dollars in 2021, which became Bally's International Interactive. In 2025 it agreed to hand that division to the Greek lottery technology group Intralot in a 2.7 billion euro cash-and-share transaction completed on 9 October, a reverse-style merger that left Bally's as Intralot's majority shareholder. The resulting group, Bally's Intralot, is now acquiring Evoke plc. Bally's separately carries substantial development commitments, including its Chicago casino project.

It conducts and manages all lottery, sports betting and casino gambling in the province. Circa Sports is a Las Vegas sportsbook founded by the casino owner Derek Stevens, which began operations on 1 June 2019 and takes its name from his Circa Resort and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Funds managed by Apollo Global Management, alongside HPS Investment Partners, completed the acquisition of the then Great Canadian Gaming Corporation in September 2021 in a deal worth around 3.3 billion Canadian dollars, taking the business private and bringing roughly 25 casinos under Apollo's control. Anthony Rodio, previously chief executive of Caesars Entertainment, was appointed to lead it from Toronto. Canadian casinos are typically operated on behalf of provincial Crown agencies rather than owned outright, so the company's role is as service provider to the provinces as much as proprietor.
United StatesHard Rock Digital
Hard Rock Digital is the online sports betting and gaming arm of Hard Rock International, founded in 2020 as a joint venture between Hard Rock and a group of online gambling executives, and based in Florida. It trades under the Hard Rock Bet brand. Its position in Florida is unlike any other American operator's. Under the 2021 compact between the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the state, mobile betting runs on a hub-and-spoke model in which wagers are deemed to take place on tribal land where the servers sit, which makes Hard Rock Bet the only legal sportsbook in what is one of the largest betting populations in the United States. That arrangement survived federal litigation and has become the template other tribes look to when negotiating digital rights.

CanadaLoto-Québec
Loto-Québec is the Crown corporation responsible for gaming in the province of Quebec, established in 1969 and headquartered in Montreal. It was created to bring gambling under state control and away from illegal operators and organised crime, a founding rationale that still shapes how Quebec frames gambling policy. It runs draw games and scratch cards, casinos and gaming halls, bingo, video lottery terminals and online gambling through its Espacejeux platform. Its subsidiary the Société des casinos du Québec operates the province's four government casinos: the Casino de Montréal, the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the Casino de Mont-Tremblant and the Casino de Charlevoix. Quebec has not followed Ontario in opening its online market to licensed private competition, so Espacejeux remains the only provincially sanctioned online option.

It operates NorthStarBets.ca under an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario and a registration with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. It listed on the TSXV in March 2023 through a reverse takeover and has positioned itself as a domestic challenger in a market dominated by international groups, combining sports journalism with betting and casino products through a partnership with the newspaper publisher Torstar. Its technology platform is supplied by Playtech, which is also its largest shareholder. Corey Goodman was appointed permanent chief executive in August 2026, having served in the role on an interim basis since December 2025.
CanadaOntario Lottery and Gaming Corporation
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is a Crown corporation owned by the Government of Ontario, with offices in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto. It began as the Ontario Lottery Corporation in February 1975, whose first game, Wintario, was drawn fortnightly on a television show, and took its present form in April 2000 when the province merged the lottery with the Ontario Casino Corporation. OLG conducts and manages lottery, casinos, electronic bingo and internet gaming on behalf of the province, and has returned approximately 56.7 billion Canadian dollars to Ontario since 1975. It pioneered regulated online gaming in Canada with the launch of PlayOLG in 2015. Since Ontario opened its market to private operators in April 2022 it has competed alongside them while remaining the province's Crown operator, a dual role no other Canadian jurisdiction has attempted.

United StatesRed Rock Resorts

The business was founded on 1 July 1976 by Frank Fertitta Jr, whose first property, the Bingo Palace, later became Palace Station. The Fertitta family has retained significant ownership since the founding, and Frank Fertitta III is chief executive. Its estate includes the classic Station properties, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station and Santa Fe Station, alongside the flagship Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. Rush Street Interactive
Rush Street Interactive is an online casino and sports betting operator founded in 2012 and headquartered in Chicago, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RSI. Neil Bluhm, the property investor behind the Rush Street Gaming casino group, is co-founder and executive chairman. Outside the United States it operates in Ontario, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. It is one of the few American operators to have built a genuine Latin American position rather than treating international expansion as an afterthought.
United StatesUnderdog
Underdog is an American sports gaming company founded in 2020 in Brooklyn, New York by Jeremy Levine, Brandon Stakenborg and Trevor John, who had previously built the fantasy sports businesses StarStreet and DRAFT. It runs three products: Best Ball tournaments, Pick'em contests and a licensed sportsbook, which went live in North Carolina. That progression is the point of interest. Underdog built scale through daily fantasy formats that several state regulators have since challenged as unlicensed sports betting, and has been converting into a regulated sportsbook operator in the states where it can. It sits in the same contested territory as prediction markets and sweepstakes: products that reached large audiences through a legal classification that regulators are now revisiting.
United StatesWynn Resorts
Wynn Resorts is a US casino and hospitality group with properties in Las Vegas and Macau.
