Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is an independent testing, certification and consulting company for the gambling industry, headquartered in Lakewood, New Jersey, and founded in 1989, whose laboratories test slot machines, online casino games, random number generators, platforms, sportsbooks, lottery systems and payment and identity technology against the technical standards of more than 480 regulators worldwide. The Supreme Court has confirmed that the casino regulator was entitled to classify an operator's "skill" machines as games of chance and to discount a laboratory report the operator said proved otherwise.
