Gambling Products Explained: How Every Vertical Actually Works
The mechanics behind every online gambling product, side by side. The course covers what all products share (a stake, an uncertain outcome, an edge built into the rules, the price or a commission, a variance profile, a skill dimension, a pace and a fairness mechanism), then each vertical in turn: sports betting (the overround, markets, accumulators, in-play, the skill of information), slots and RNG casino games (how a slot's mathematics and volatility are built, the other table games, features regulators restrict), live casino and table games (the round, the formats, multipliers and game shows), poker, bingo, lottery and pools (commission, fixed prize pools, scheduled draws, liquidity and ecology), and the newer formats: crash games, virtual sports, esports, fantasy and pick products, sweepstakes and social casino, prediction markets and lottery betting, each as a recombination that tests a regulatory boundary.
Written for people across the industry who work on or around products they did not grow up with: traders moving to casino, compliance analysts who need to know why volatility matters for harm, product managers choosing what to launch, journalists explaining a format. It assumes you know what online gambling is.
The through-line: knowing the mechanics is knowing the products, and every new product is an old mechanic in a new wrapper.
