Last updated: April 2026. This policy applies to every article published on igaming-times.com.
iGaming Times is editorially independent. Our reporting is not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, partners, or investors. Commercial relationships — including ad placements, directory listings, sponsored events, and affiliate partnerships — are clearly labelled and never grant editorial input, pre-publication review, or favourable coverage.
Every news article is expected to meet the following sourcing standards:
Articles are drafted by a named author, then reviewed by at least one editor for accuracy, clarity, tone, fairness, and legal risk before publication. For complex stories (regulatory filings, M&A, financial reporting, or allegations involving a named company or individual), a second editor reviews the draft and the supporting sources.
Authors and editors declare any personal or financial interest — including equity holdings, employment history, or consulting arrangements — that relates to a story they are working on. Where a conflict exists, the story is reassigned or a disclosure is added to the published article.
iGaming Times does not publish AI-generated articles. Authors may use AI tools for research, summarisation, grammar, or translation, but every published article is authored, reviewed, and signed off by a human editor. We do not use AI to generate quotes, statistics, or claims of fact.
Where an article contains specific criticism of, or allegations against, a named company or individual, we attempt to contact them for comment before publication and include their response, or note that they declined to comment, in the published article.
Any article written for, or paid for by, a third party is clearly labelled as “Sponsored”, “Partner Content”, or “Press Release”. Sponsored content is visually distinct from editorial content and is not included in our news sitemap or Google News feed.
When a story develops, we update the article and record a new modified date. Substantive changes (not just typos) are noted in an update log at the bottom of the article. We never stealth-edit the substance of an article after publication.
To tip us off to a story, question our reporting, or raise concerns about editorial standards, contact the editor directly.
