Boyd Gaming

Boyd Gaming

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a casino operator founded on 1 January 1975 by Sam and Bill Boyd to develop the California Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, and is still headquartered in the city. It trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BYD. It is one of the most geographically diversified American operators, running 28 gaming properties across 10 states, managing a tribal casino in northern California, and owning Boyd Interactive, a business selling online casino both to consumers and to other operators. In July 2025 it sold its 5% equity stake in FanDuel Group to Flutter Entertainment for 1.755 billion dollars, using the proceeds to cut debt while extending its market access agreements with FanDuel through to 2038.
