Circa Sports

Circa Sports is a Las Vegas sportsbook founded by the casino owner Derek Stevens, which began operations on 1 June 2019 and takes its name from his Circa Resort and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. It operates in Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky and Missouri, having launched in Colorado in July 2020 through a partnership with Century Casinos and opened its first physical sportsbook outside Nevada in Illinois in September 2023. Circa is built on a deliberately contrarian commercial model: it posts high limits, does not restrict winning customers in the way most American books do, and runs the Circa Survivor and Circa Millions contests, which carry multi-million dollar prize pools and have become a distinct marketing asset.
