Backseat Gaming is an online slot studio founded in 2023. It was the first partner studio on Hacksaw Gaming's OpenRGS programme, launching its debut title Lord Venom through the platform in May 2023, and its later releases include Barrel Bonanza, The Cursed King and Shadow Strike. According to its website, the studio now runs a proprietary remote gaming server built in house, releases a new game every week and offers fully exclusive or pre-release content to key partners. It lists more than 45 games, support for 36 languages and 178 currencies, and a team of over 80 people. The company says it prioritises clean, simple gameplay, fast loading on poor connections and mobile-optimised design.
