Quickspin is a Swedish game development studio that creates slots and gamification tools for the real money online gambling market. It was founded in Stockholm in 2011 by three people, was acquired by Playtech in 2016 and operates as part of the Playtech group. It releases at least two games a month under Quickspin Slots, including the Sakura Fortune franchise, and has entered live casino with Quickspin Live, planning one new live game per quarter. It has built its own platform and employs about 100 people of more than 30 nationalities across five countries, with offices in Stockholm, Sliema in Malta and Kyiv in Ukraine. Quickspin AB holds a Malta Gaming Authority critical gaming supply corporate licence (MGA/CRP/137/2007) and is licensed by the Gambling Commission in Great Britain under account number 38516.
