Which US state will be the next to sign online casino gaming into law?

Seven states have legal online casino gaming and none has joined since Rhode Island in 2024. New York, Maryland, Illinois and Maine have all seen bills reach committee; each session ends with the same map. This market covers the 2027 legislative sessions and asks which state, if any, moves first.

Resolution rule

Resolves to the first US state whose governor signs into law a bill authorising real-money online casino games (slots or table games) after 19 September 2026 and before 30 June 2027, checked against that state's legislative record. Sports betting-only and lottery-only bills do not count. A state not listed resolves to Another state; if no state signs by 30 June 2027 the market resolves to that option.
