BetBlocker

BetBlocker is a gambling blocking software provider and registered charity based in Scotland, United Kingdom (charity number SC049565). Its free tool lets people restrict access to gambling websites and apps on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and Fire OS devices, with scheduling options and no registration or personal data required. The charity says it blocks more than 843,000 gambling sites and 3,100 apps, covering both licensed and unlicensed operators, and presents the tool as a complement to national self-exclusion schemes such as GamStop and Spelpaus. BetBlocker was created in 2017 by the alternative dispute resolution service ThePOGG and became an independent charity in 2019. It is funded by grants and donations, including from businesses in the gambling industry.
