Bizum

Bizum is a Spanish instant mobile payment service operated by Bizum S.L., a company owned by Spanish banks, and is accepted as a deposit method by many online gambling operators licensed in Spain. Launched in 2016 as a joint project of the banking sector, it lets users send money to other individuals, pay online and pay in store by QR code directly from their existing bank account, and also offers a donations service and a digital identifier for registering on websites and apps. The company says it has 26 million active users, 38 member banks, 53,400 online merchants and 8,800 organisations accepting donations through the service.
