Casino Barcelona

Casino Barcelona is a land-based and online casino brand of Grup Peralada, the family-owned Catalan business group, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. According to the group, Arturo Suqué and Carmen Mateu opened the Gran Casino de Barcelona, Casino Castell de Peralada and Casino de Lloret de Mar in 1978, and in 2012 the group launched its first online casino, CasinoBarcelona.es. The online business is operated by Casino Barcelona Interactivo SA, which holds general licences for betting and other games from Spain's Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, with singular licences covering slots, blackjack, roulette, poker and fixed-odds sports betting. Grup Peralada's casino division also includes Casino Perelada and Casino Tarragona in Catalonia and casino resorts in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, alongside its wine, industrial and cultural interests.
