Gamban is a Southampton-based software company founded in 2015 that provides gambling-blocking software for phones, tablets and computers, preventing access to tens of thousands of gambling websites and apps worldwide, and is distributed free to British residents through the GamCare-supported TalkBanStop scheme alongside GamStop self-exclusion and bank gambling blocks. It licenses its blocking technology to operators, banks, treatment providers and regulators as a responsible-gambling tool and to national self-exclusion schemes, and is one of the most widely used blocking products in the sector.
