Ondato is a KYC, AML and age verification provider headquartered in London, United Kingdom, with its research and development centre in Vilnius, Lithuania. Founded in 2018, it offers gambling and iGaming operators remote identity verification with document, NFC and biometric liveness checks, age verification, AML screening against more than 15,000 data sources, ongoing monitoring and business verification for affiliates, payment recipients and partners. The company has published a case study with the operator TonyBet, which it says uses Ondato for player onboarding and for sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening. According to the company, it covers 192 countries, has onboarded more than 40 million users and holds ISO 27001 certification, with eIDAS and ETSI compliance and approval from Germany's youth media protection commission, the KJM.
