GamCare is a British charity founded in 1997 providing information, advice and treatment for people affected by gambling harm, running the National Gambling Helpline, delivering treatment through a network of partners, operating the Safer Gambling Standard accreditation for operators and the TalkBanStop partnership with GamStop and Gamban, and training industry staff in customer-interaction and safer-gambling practice. It is funded through the statutory levy and previously through industry donations via GambleAware.

New figures from GamCare and debt advice provider PayPlan show that 1,954 people sought financial guidance through GamCare's Money Guidance Service in 2025, more than double the previous year, with total reported debt rising 153% to £7.2 million, and January 2026 recording the highest monthly referral total in the service's history.
