Casino Guru opens public Voting for Players’ Choice and Voice of the People categories in 2026 Awards

Earlier this year, Casino Guru officially revealed the shortlists across all award categories, following a record-breaking number of high-quality applications from across the iGaming industry. These shortlisted candidates represent the strongest performers in areas such as transparency, social responsibility, innovation, leadership, and player protection.
While most category winners will be determined by an expert panel of judges, Players’ Choice and Voice of the People are unique in that they are fully decided by public vote, giving the community a direct role in selecting the winners.
The Players’ Choice category highlights the most popular and player-favorite game providers, based on a combination of industry reputation, product quality, and overall player experience. The final outcome is entirely determined by players.

Public voting is now open, inviting players, industry professionals, and the wider community to support their preferred candidates. This approach ensures a transparent and authentic reflection of public sentiment, independent of the judging process.
“We believe that the community should have a direct say in recognizing excellence within the industry,” said Daniela Sliva, PR & Creative Project Director at Casino Guru. “By opening both Players’ Choice and Voice of the People to public voting, we are giving players and the wider community the opportunity to influence the outcome and highlight those who truly stand out.”
The winners of the Casino Guru Awards 2026 will be revealed during an exclusive live ceremony held on May 25, 2026, at The Xara Lodge in Malta. The event will celebrate excellence across the industry, recognizing achievements in transparency, fairness, social responsibility, innovation, and player-centric approaches.
Casino Guru encourages everyone to participate in the voting process and help determine the winners of these community-driven categories. Public voting is now open on the official Casino Guru Awards website.

Why This Matters
iGaming Times analysis: Public-vote categories at industry awards rarely surface clean signal — mobilised affiliate audiences usually drive outcomes. The more useful read on Casino Guru's awards programme is the editorial-shortlist composition, which tends to reflect operator behaviour Casino Guru's complaint-resolution team has direct visibility on. Operators repeatedly absent from shortlists despite scale are usually the same operators with elevated unresolved-complaint counts in the published CRC dataset.
