Peermont is a hotel, casino and resort group headquartered at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa. Operating as Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts, it says it runs 11 properties across South Africa and Botswana, including Emperors Palace, Graceland, Umfolozi, Frontier Inn, Rio, Mmabatho Palms, Thaba Moshate, Khoroni and Mondior Gaborone. Founded in 1995, it rebranded as Peermont Global in 2003. According to the company, a consortium led by the Mineworkers Investment Company acquired Peermont in 2007, after which it delisted from the JSE. Emperors Palace received its Gauteng casino licence in 1998. Peermont launched the online sportsbook PalaceBet in October 2020 and added slots to PalaceBet in 2022.
