Responsible Gambling Council

The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is a Toronto-based non-profit founded in 1983 that researches gambling harm, delivers prevention programmes, runs the RG Check accreditation programme that assesses operators' responsible-gambling standards, used by Canadian lotteries and by online operators in Ontario and elsewhere, and advises governments and regulators on responsible-gambling policy. Its accreditation is one of the two most widely adopted responsible-gambling certifications in the industry.
