Swisslos is the lottery and sports betting operator for the nineteen German-speaking and Italian-speaking cantons of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, headquartered in Basel and holding the exclusive right under the Swiss Money Gaming Act to offer lotteries and sports betting in its territory. It sells the Swiss Lotto, Euro Millions, instant tickets and Sporttip sports betting through retail and its swisslos.ch online platform, and distributes all of its profits, several hundred million francs a year, to cantonal lottery and sports funds for public-interest causes. It is a cooperative owned by the cantons.

The Åland operator behind mycasino.ch will give Meta licence documents and website addresses so Facebook and Instagram can tell Swiss licensees from offshore operators and their affiliates. Meta has said nothing publicly, and the pilot comes a week after Dutch operators took the platform to court.
