GR8 Tech Takes Acceler8 Lab to SBC Summit Lisbon With 12 Operator Sessions Across Three Days

The supplier's tech learning space runs from 29 September to 1 October at booth C416 in Hall 3, opening with a day built around operational performance. Sessions last 30 minutes, seats are limited and registration is per lecture.

A Tech Learning Space in the Champions Arena, Running the Length of the Show

GR8 Tech is bringing Acceler8 Lab, its educational programme for operators, to SBC Summit Lisbon from 29 September to 1 October, with 12 half-hour lectures running across the three days of the show. The space sits at booth C416 in Hall 3, inside the Champions Arena, and is run with GO Academy.io, the Gaming Operations Academy.

The company describes Acceler8 Lab as an initiative for operators who want to improve performance through practical, immediately applicable knowledge. It is built for senior decision-makers across sportsbook, casino, product, trading, CRM and operations, according to the company, and the sessions are deliberately short, covering sportsbook strategy, player psychology, CRM, artificial intelligence, payments and product execution. Speakers are drawn from GR8 Tech's own specialists and from the wider industry.

Each lecture is registered for individually and places are capped, with the remaining seats shown per session on the programme page. Recordings of earlier Acceler8 Lab keynotes are published on the same site.

Day One, 29 September: Operational Performance

The opening day is organised around how operators run themselves day to day. Andrew Visser opens at 11:00 with "Inside the War Room: How Top Operators Turn Daily Chaos into Decisions". Shanta Segabon follows at 13:00 with "The Cost of Slow: What Latency Actually Does to Conversion, Retention, and Trust", a session on the commercial price of a slow product rather than the engineering of one.

At 14:00 Fernando Garita presents "The First 90 Days in a New Market: An Execution Postmortem", and Elaine Gardiner closes the day at 16:00 with "The Affiliate Profitability Problem: Are You Paying for Players or Just Traffic?", which takes on a question that has grown sharper as acquisition costs have risen across regulated markets.

Day Two, 30 September: People, Training and Compliance

The middle day is the fullest, with five sessions, and turns from systems to staff. Shanta Segabon returns at 11:00 with "The Hidden Cost of Poor Onboarding in Gaming", followed at 12:00 by Arjan Korstjens on "Building Future Gaming Leaders: Skills Every Manager Needs in 2026".

Nikolas Lotz takes the 13:00 slot with "Compliance Without the Boredom: Training That Actually Changes Behaviour", a subject with obvious relevance in a year of licence suspensions across several European markets. Jochen Biewer follows at 14:00 with "From New Hire to High Performer: The 90-Day Operator Blueprint", and Bartek Borkowski closes at 15:00 with "Human Intelligence vs Artificial Intelligence: What Skills Will Still Matter?".

Day Three, 1 October: Trading, Multi-Market Operations and AI

The final day runs three sessions before the show closes. Viktoriia Grygorenko opens at 11:00 with "The Trading Desk Question: Build In-House, Buy Managed, or Run Hybrid", a decision that sits behind most sportsbook cost structures. Andrew Visser returns at 12:00 with "Operational Excellence in a Multi-Market World", and Jochen Biewer closes the programme at 13:00 with "Beyond Prompting: How to Train Your People to Become AI-Natives".

The full schedule and registration for each lecture are on the Acceler8 Lab page. Other programmes and stands at the show are listed in our events section.
