Genting is a Malaysian conglomerate whose leisure and hospitality arm is one of the largest casino operators in the world, running Resorts World Genting in Malaysia, Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore through the listed Genting Singapore, Resorts World Las Vegas, Resorts World New York City and Resorts World Catskills in the United States through Genting Malaysia, and Genting Casinos in Britain, with online casino brands in Britain and other regulated markets. Founded in 1965 and controlled by the Lim family, the group's gaming companies are listed in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and it holds a bid for a full New York casino licence at its Queens racino.
