theScore Bet

theScore Bet

theScore Bet is the sportsbook and online casino brand of PENN Entertainment in Canada and, from December 2025, in the United States, where it replaced ESPN Bet after PENN and ESPN ended their licensing agreement early. Built around theScore sports media app, one of the most-used sports apps in North America, it launched in Ontario at the market opening in April 2022 with sports betting and casino under an iGaming Ontario registration, integrating betting into the media product. PENN acquired theScore in 2021 and moved its US sportsbook technology onto theScore's platform; the brand is headquartered in Toronto.
