Odds feeds are how operators without strong in-house trading capability access sportsbook product. The feed delivers priced markets in real time, with the operator presenting these to its customers and (in most arrangements) accepting the supplier's pricing without modification. The supplier typically takes responsibility for risk management, with operator exposure capped by the commercial arrangement. The pattern allows smaller operators to launch sportsbook product without building or licensing full trading infrastructure. The supply landscape spans dedicated odds providers (Sportradar, BetGenius, others) and integrated platforms that bundle odds with broader sportsbook technology. The economics involve supplier take on the resulting GGR alongside fees. Operators with growth ambition typically migrate from pure feed consumption toward in-house trading capability as scale justifies the investment. The biggest operators run their own trading rooms; mid-size and smaller operators rely on supplier-provided odds with varying degrees of internal trading overlay.
