evoke plc is the international betting and gaming group formerly known as 888 Holdings, which completed its rebrand in May 2024 after shareholders approved the change at its annual general meeting. It trades on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker EVOK and is headquartered in Gibraltar. The group's portfolio spans William Hill, acquired from Caesars in 2022 and one of the oldest names in British bookmaking, alongside 888sport, 888casino, 888poker and the Swedish-founded Mr Green. The William Hill acquisition transformed 888 from an online-only operator into one with a substantial British retail estate, and the debt taken on to fund it has shaped the group's strategy since.
