Paddy Power is an Irish bookmaker founded in Dublin in 1988 from the merger of three retail bookmaking businesses, now part of Flutter Entertainment following its 2016 merger with Betfair. It operates several hundred betting shops in Ireland and Britain and an online sportsbook, casino, bingo and games business licensed by the Gambling Commission and the Irish regulator, and is known for irreverent marketing campaigns and money-back promotions. Paddy Power is Flutter's largest brand in Ireland and one of its largest in Britain, and shares Flutter's UK and Ireland platform with Betfair and Sky Betting and Gaming.
