The company says it started in 2018, began operating with its first licence and brand in Estonia, later obtained a Malta Gaming Authority licence and at the end of 2020 decided to focus solely on regulated markets. Its main brand, Kansino, is a Dutch-facing pay-and-play online casino; Play North Limited was among the first holders of a Kansspelautoriteit online gambling licence in the Netherlands and has been granted a follow-on licence running to September 2031.
