Betclic

Betclic

Betclic is a French online sports betting and poker operator founded in 2005 and headquartered in Bordeaux. It trades as part of Betclic Everest Group, whose shareholders include Stéphane Courbit and the Monaco casino group Société des Bains de Mer, and which sits within the listed group FL Entertainment. In France it holds an ANJ licence and is the official betting partner of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as well as holding naming rights to the Betclic Élite basketball championship. It is separately licensed in Portugal, where it holds the Liga Portugal Betclic naming rights, and in Poland and Sweden. It withdrew from the United Kingdom in 2019 and exited Italy in 2025, a pattern of concentrating on markets where it holds a leading position rather than competing broadly.
