Winamax
Winamax is a French online poker and sports betting operator, founded in 1999 by Max Derhy and headquartered in Paris. It began life as a video games publisher before moving into online gambling, building its position in poker first and adding a sportsbook later. It holds ANJ licences for both poker and sports betting, the two verticals in which it is one of the largest operators in France, and runs the Winamax Poker Tour. The brand is a long-standing presence in French football sponsorship, with partnerships across Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs including RC Strasbourg Alsace.
