FDJ United

FDJ United

FDJ United is the listed French gaming group built around La Française des Jeux, the national lottery operator founded in 1976 and headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt. The French state took the company public in 2019, cutting a holding of around 72% and retaining a minority stake. It trades on Euronext Paris under the ticker FDJ. The group has moved from a domestic lottery monopoly to a multi-market operator by acquisition. It bought the online horse race and sports betting group ZEturf in 2023, taking its share of the French online market past 10%, and completed a 27.95 billion Swedish kronor tender offer for Kindred Group, the owner of Unibet, in October 2024. In France it holds ANJ licences alongside its lottery monopoly and the Parions Sport retail betting network.
