
Hellenic Gaming Commission
The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) is Greece's independent gambling regulator, licensing online betting and casino operators under the 2020 online licensing regime, supervising OPAP's lottery and betting concessions and the country's land-based casinos, enforcing product rules including online slot stake and speed limits, running the national self-exclusion register and maintaining the blacklist of unlicensed sites. It levies a gaming tax of 35 per cent of gross gaming revenue on online licensees.
