Loterie Nationale

Loterie Nationale

Loterie Nationale (Nationale Loterij) is the Belgian national lottery operator, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. It traces its origins to the Loterie Coloniale, founded in 1934 with its first draw on 18 October that year, which became the Loterie Nationale in 1962. Its portfolio covers draw games including Lotto, EuroMillions, EuroDreams and Vikinglotto, instant scratch games such as Win for Life, launched in 1998, and sports betting under the Scooore brand, which falls under the supervision of the Belgian Gaming Commission. Products are sold online and through its own Lottery Shops and more than 8,000 points of sale. The organisation says it is ISO 27001 certified, and under its 2021 management contract it runs a higher ethics council that checks its strategy against European Lotteries responsible gaming standards. Profits support good causes in Belgium.
