Lottomatica Group

Lottomatica Group is the largest gambling operator in Italy, headquartered in Rome and listed on Borsa Italiana in Milan following its 2023 IPO. It reported more than 30 billion euros in amounts wagered and 1.6 billion euros of consolidated revenue for 2023, and runs three segments: Online, Sports Franchise and Gaming Franchise. Its scale is largely built by acquisition. In April 2024 its subsidiary GBO completed a 639 million euro purchase of SKS365, bringing the PlanetWin365 sportsbook and PlanetPay365 casino into a portfolio that already held Goldbet, Better, Lottomatica.it and Betflag. The combination took the group to roughly 29.1% of the Italian online market, and made it the clear leader in a market where Flutter and Entain are the other two significant forces.
