Rootz

Rootz

Rootz is a Malta-based online casino operator founded in 2018 running the Wildz, Caxino, Wheelz and Spinz brands on its own platform, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and in Ontario, Germany, Sweden and other regulated markets. It built its business on a fast, mobile-first casino product with a loyalty mechanic that rewards play across its brands, and on the German market, where Wildz is one of the licensed slot operators under the interstate treaty. Rootz is privately owned, employs around 300 people in Malta, and supplies its platform and brands to partners under licence.

Wildz Says It Has Won Finland's First Gambling Licence, Valid From July 2027

Malta-based Wildz Group says Finland's National Police Board has granted it a five-year gambling licence starting on 1 July 2027, the first award any operator has announced under the new regime. The board has not confirmed it, and a year ago it was weighing a marketing prohibition against the same group that would have ruled it out.
