Wynn Resorts

Wynn Resorts is a US casino and hospitality group listed on Nasdaq and headquartered in Las Vegas, operating Wynn Las Vegas and Encore on the Strip, Encore Boston Harbor in Massachusetts, and Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace in Macau through its majority-owned Wynn Macau subsidiary, and developing Wynn Al Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates, due to open in 2027 as the first licensed casino resort in the Gulf. Its WynnBET online sportsbook, launched in 2020, was wound down in most states in 2023 and 2024 as the company withdrew from the US online market outside Nevada and Massachusetts. Founded by Steve Wynn in 2002, the group employs around 30,000 people.

Wynn Q2 Revenue Rises 7% on Macau Mass-Market Surge as UAE Budget Swells by $600 Million

Wynn Resorts posted a stronger-than-expected second quarter, with group revenue climbing 7% year-on-year to $1.86 billion and net income more than doubling, but a six-month delay and $600 million budget overrun at its UAE resort cast a shadow over the results. The headline numbers confirm that Macau's mass market, not VIP, is now driving the company's Asian growth.
