Lotteri- og stiftelsestilsynet (the Norwegian Gambling and Foundation Authority) is Norway's gambling regulator, based in Førde, supervising the state monopolies Norsk Tipping and Norsk Rikstoto under the 2023 Gambling Act and enforcing against unlicensed operators through payment blocking, DNS blocking introduced from 2024, orders and fines against foreign operators and action against affiliates and media carrying their advertising. It also regulates private lotteries and bingo and publishes market and channelisation data.
