Oficiul Național pentru Jocuri de Noroc

The Oficiul Național pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) is Romania's national gambling office, licensing online and land-based operators under class I licences and suppliers, affiliates, payment processors and other service providers under class II licences, one of the few European regimes licensing the whole supply chain. It certifies technical systems, enforces advertising and responsible-gambling rules that were tightened in 2024, maintains the blacklist of unlicensed sites and collects licence fees and taxes.
