Coljuegos is Colombia's national gambling regulator, licensing online operators since 2017 as the first regulated online market in Latin America, together with land-based casinos, slot routes and lotteries at national level, collecting the exploitation rights that fund the country's health system, certifying platforms and games, maintaining a blocklist of unlicensed sites enforced with the communications regulator, and enforcing advertising and responsible-gambling rules. It is the reference regulator for Latin American markets that followed.
