New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement

New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) is the investigative and regulatory arm of the state's gambling oversight, within the Attorney General's office, which with the Casino Control Commission licenses Atlantic City casinos and the online casino and sports betting operators tethered to them. Regulating online casino since 2013 and sports betting since 2018, it is the most experienced online gambling regulator in the United States; its technical standards, testing, geolocation, KYC and responsible-gambling rules became the template other states copied, and it publishes monthly revenue by operator.

Playtech has moved first on the reading.
