PointsBet

PointsBet

PointsBet is an Australian online sports betting operator founded in Melbourne in 2015, known for its spread-style pointsbetting product alongside fixed-odds betting, and licensed in Australia through the Northern Territory and in Ontario. It listed on the ASX in 2019, expanded aggressively into the United States, and sold that business to Fanatics Betting and Gaming in 2023 to concentrate on Australia and Canada. In 2025, after a takeover contest with Betr, PointsBet was acquired by MIXI, the Japanese technology and gaming company, which now owns the business as its international betting arm. It runs its own platform and technology from Melbourne and Denver.
